switching to hey, god in the alter-reality

yeah, i'm swapping out various plugs and, while they all sound a little different, there's a consistency: the working cord is muffled across the board. i'm going to continue testing for the night, but i'm pretty much convinced that i need a new cord.

i'll probably buy three of them. they're like $10 each. in the mean time, i *think* i can finish mixing.

there's an alter-reality update tonight, which means i'm very far behind where i wanted to be right now, but i just need to keep plugging away at it. at least i've got some daylight to an answer, now.
