i've ruled out the instrumentals, meaning i've got tentative mixes done for everything except "schizoid", which is now going to be my focus. but it means the issues with the devices absolutely have to resolve themselves, because getting that specific bass tone is a delicate thing. which means i'm going to have to resort to driver reinstalls if it doesn't fix itself by the time i get back to it.

with the heat, i don't sleep much - and i like that. but it's time for two or three hours, anyways.
